The Assembly of Kosovo was visited by a group of children from kindergarten Qengjat, and from a group of pupils at ninth grade of three elementary schools

A group of children from SOS kindergarten Qengjat and a group of pupils from ninth grade of elementary school Asim Vokshi, Faik Konica and Pjetër Bogdani from Prishtina visited today the Assembly of Kosovo. They were introduced to premises of highest legislative body of the country.

On behalf of the administration of the Assembly of Kosovo, children from SOS kindergarten Qengjat were welcomed by advisor of the Secretary of the Assembly, Shemsedin Mula. Children and the stuff accompanying them were especially interested on what the Assembly could do for ensuring the implementation of the rights of the children, foreseen in international convention.

Meanwhile, the pupils from ninth grade were welcomed by Daut Beqiri, Director of the Department for Legal and Procedural Support of the Assembly of Kosovo. Answering to the questions that pupils were interested regarding the proceeding activities in this department, Beqiri told them about different aspects of functioning, structure and minority representation in the Assembly of Kosovo.
